Our first EPD for MPC- and MPR-Support channels

We are delighted to have received our first Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for our galvanised MPC- and MPR-Support channels. An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a standardised document that transparently presents the environmental impact of a product throughout its entire life cycle. This is particularly important for sustainable construction projects that aim to be environmentally friendly and resource-efficient.

Advantages of an EPD

Transparency: EPDs provide detailed information on a product's environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle, from the extraction of raw materials to its disposal.

Fulfillment of requirements: In many industries and in public tenders, environmental certificates such as EPDs are often a prerequisite. We meet these requirements with our EPDs.

Sustainable planning: With sound environmental indicators, EPDs support the sustainable planning of construction projects. They provide a solid basis for environmentally conscious decisions and help to reduce the ecological footprint.

Continuous improvement: Creating an EPD requires a detailed analysis of a product's entire life cycle. This enables us to identify areas for improvement and continuously enhance our environmental performance.

Comparability: EPDs enable similar products to be objectively compared in terms of their environmental impact. This makes it easier for our customers to select products that are more environmentally friendly.

We are already working on further EPDs for our products in order to continuously improve our ecological footprint and support our customers in implementing sustainable construction projects.
